Never travel alone again - singles trips are the solution

I used to love traveling alone, but my last trip to Thailand was a letdown. Every couple and family on the planet had gathered in Thailand. I got the bright idea to visit two small islands this time. The first hotel was full of couples about to tie the knot. Couples gazing lovingly into each other's eyes. Lovebirds eagerly counting down to their beach weddings. I think I was the only single on that island, and everyone looked at me with pity. At least that's how it felt, and I cried my eyes out at night.

I didn't want to travel like that ever again. My friend Jessica back home said it would be completely different next time. She had heard about singles trips and how much fun they are. She wanted to tell me all about it back home, and she did.

Back home, my friend Jessica grabbed me and asked how much vacation time I still had this year. Quite a lot, I realized. That settled it for her: we're going on vacation! But this time, differently! We're booking singles trips to chase away the gloomy Thailand days! Slowly the sun returned to my thoughts and to my heart.

Why not? Just do something different for once. If things in life are supposed to change, you have to change things in yourself too! A warm and happy feeling came over me right away! Meet nice people and maybe find something for the heart. Nobody has to, everybody can, and it sounds completely uncomplicated. Excitement slowly built up inside me and we booked our singles vacation in Greece. The suitcases were packed and a confident feeling set in: This is going to be our vacation!

We had a dream vacation on a singles trip in Greece. Like something out of a picture book. A dream beach, a dream hotel and such fun-loving, nice singles. We had a dream vacation and I fell in love. There was really something for the heart. He's Canadian and works in the US. We live just 30 miles apart, right across the border. It's all a dream and I love Canada. This weekend I'm going to visit him for the first time. My heart is leaping with joy. My friend didn't meet anyone. But that wasn't the point of the trip anyway. We met five nice people and want to get together for a weekend in the fall.

We've found friends and we want to book another vacation together with singles trips. It's like meeting up with friends. Everyone is happy and in the best of moods.
