Who I am
I'm 29, I live in Hamburg and I'm on the road more than a hundred days a year on average. Travel has always been more than a holiday for me – it's the time when I learn the most about myself and about other people. But sitting alone at the hotel breakfast table while everyone around me is in pairs? That still gets to me.

How it all began
After university I first set off alone – Interrail through southern Europe, a road trip through Portugal. At some point I realised that at the most beautiful moments I wished most of all to share them with someone. Through a dating platform I eventually met a man who loved to travel just as much as I did. A weekend together in Lisbon turned into a multi-week trip through Southeast Asia – and I became a convinced advocate of the idea that travel and dating combine wonderfully.
That experience shaped me. That's why I've been writing ever since about how to find the right travel partner, whether for a weekend or a trip around the world.
